"A Toast to the Music of the Theater - from Opera to Broadway!"

The Greenbrier Valley Chorale devotes its spring concert to a celebration of the evolution of music in the theater from opera to Broadway. The festive event will include choruses by Verdi and Strauss from La Traviata, Nabucco and Die Fledermaus with guest soloists. The men of the chorale will perform selections from Gilbert and Sullivan’s operetta The Pirates of Penzance, and the choir will salute Broadway with favorites ranging from the groundbreaking Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Oklahoma to the contemporary hit Phantom of the Opera. A free reception will follow the concert.
